Supportive Living Dining Room

Our Dining Room Seating arrangement is kept to a maximum of 10 residents for an intimate dining experience.  Each of our four Dining Rooms is designed for wheelchair manoeuvrability and provides a direct sight line to a professional Health Care Aide.  We have hired professional Culinary Team led by a qualified Executive Chef.  The Menu is developed in house and meets Registered Dietitian approval for Canada Nutrition Guideline.  Residents get pampered with three meals per day and have unlimited access to 24hr snacks and beverages.

 

Supportive Living Studio Suite

Our Supportive Living community has 40 Studio Suites. The bedroom suites are designed with 10 foot ceilings, washroom and living space for comfortable daily living. Each house comes with its own dining room and common living room that are great for family visits.  Our Staff are warm, welcoming and very passionate about what they do. Our Continuing Care Facility meets current building code “B3” and has been recognized for excellence in Housekeeping Services and Facility Cleanliness.  Our Qualified Health Care Aides are available 24 hrs per day/7 days a week to care for your loved one with regular support from our Alberta Health Services partner’s Home Care Nurses.

 

Vermilion and District Housing Foundation has 40 Supportive Living Level 3 rooms and we are currently working towards Supportive Living Level 4 to support our community so our residents can age in place.  In order for you to move in to our supportive community living you must have your name placed on the wait list with the Alberta Health Services placement office.  Please see your health care professional or consult directly with your home care case manager for full details.  You may choose to contact our wonderful facility Resident Care Manager Tabitha Dykstra at tabitha.dykstra@vdhf.ca
