The VDHF Capital Campaign is pleased to announce that Webb’s of Vermilion has donated $100,000 towards the modernization project at the Vermilion Valley Lodge.
“We feel that the Lodge expansion project is such an important project in our community.” Said Scott Webb, Owner & Manager of Webb’s Machinery. “As a business that has been around for 80 years, Webb’s is thankful for the support over the years and now it is an opportunity for us to give back. It is something we have always done is give back to the community that has supported us.”
Dealer Principal of Webb’s Ford, Mike Webb agreed, “We have a lot of customers past and present that have lived or will eventually live at the Lodge. This is a way for us to say Thank You and in a few years, we may be joining them there.”
Vermilion & District Housing Foundation Living Well Capital Campaign Chair Brenda Lee expressed her thanks, “We can’t thank Scott, Mike and the Webb Family enough for this generous gift to the modernization of the Vermilion Valley Lodge. For over 80 years, the Webb’s businesses have taken a lead in supporting our community. This donation is very reflective of their ongoing investment in our community, the people, organizations and the critical infrastructure that keeps our community strong and healthy.”
